The Full Guide to Coach Bags
Men’s small leather goods were Coach’s original business in 1941, and women’s handbags only came later, going on to become the core of the brand. Structured shoulder bags, relaxed hobos, satchels, carryalls, crossbodies and archive reissues all belong to the present-day selection of coach handbags. This rundown takes each major line in turn, covering what the bag is, when it appeared and how it is made. When a launch date is documented, it is noted; several well-known lines, though, have no reliable launch year on record.
Any price given here is an observed market price from 2026 rather than an official list price, and figures vary with size, material and promotions. A buyer picking a first coach bag should keep in mind that near-identical names can cover very different designs. A search for “couch bag”, which certain shoppers type when looking for a Coach bag, can pull furniture listings into the results because the word also refers to a settee.
The Tabby Family
The Tabby is a neatly structured shoulder bag which also serves as a crossbody, featuring detachable straps and Signature “C” hardware. The designer Stuart Vevers unveiled it in 2019, and its shape was drawn from Coach’s 1970s archive. Photographer Juergen Teller is reported to have shot the bag’s launch campaign, “Dream It Real”. Listed under the base product name Tabby Shoulder Bag, it has been listed in sizes 20, 26 and 36.
In 2021, the padded Pillow Tabby arrived, sold under names such as Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 With Pillow Quilting. Observed prices for the Tabby 26 were $475 in the US and £475 in the UK; quilted and special-edition versions cost more. Because it shifts easily between shoulder and crossbody wear, it suits buyers who want one bag for both day and evening.
The Brooklyn Line
Far closer to a hobo than to the structured Tabby, the Brooklyn is a slouchy coach shoulder bag crafted in natural-grain leather. After appearing on the Fall 2024 runway, it went on sale in August 2024. The Brooklyn 28 and the larger Brooklyn 39 make up the two main sizes reported to date. Accounts of the 39 call it roomy enough for a 15-inch laptop, which makes it a practical work bag.
Separate from the shoulder styles, a newer Brooklyn Carryall shape was reported for Spring 2026. The Brooklyn 28 was https://coach-outlet.net/ observed at £350 at John Lewis in the UK. When The RealReal’s 2025 resale report said searches for Coach had jumped 160%, the Brooklyn was among the bags it named, though that figure tracks searches rather than resale prices.
The Rogue Family
The Rogue is Coach’s structured satchel, equipped with top handles and a shoulder strap. First seen on the Fall 2016 runway, the bag was subsequently discontinued; a 2021 relaunch revived it. At the very top of Coach’s leather range, the line includes versions in regenerative leather and exotic skins. A Rogue 25 in alligator was observed at $8,000, the steepest Coach bag price observed in 2026.
There is also a Made-to-Order Rogue from Coach, and it has reportedly taken about 12 weeks, or about 16 weeks with exotic materials. By way of Coach (Re)Loved, the brand’s own resale and repair program, restored Rogue bags have also appeared. The Rogue reveals, in the eyes of many collectors, how far upmarket Coach craftsmanship can go.
The Empire Carryall
The Empire Carryall is a stretched-out, east-west top-handle bag offered as the Empire Carryall Bag 34. It was first shown on Coach’s Fall 2024 runway and launched in February 2025. Fashion press reports said, it sold out on its release day. Softer-bodied variants called Soft Empire, including a Soft Empire 40, are separate styles from the structured Carryall 34.
On Coach’s own UK website, the Empire Carryall 34 was observed at £475. Its long top-handle shape turns it into a smarter alternative to a coach tote bag for everyday carrying. Anyone comparing listings should look at the number after the name, since 34 and 40 are different bags.

The Kisslock Trio: Frame, Dreamer and Barrel
Kisslock is the name of a frame clasp drawn from vintage coin purses, a motif Coach associates with the Bonnie Cashin era. The term is shared by several different bags, and these should not be confused. Described in reports as the opening look of the Fall 2026 show, the Kisslock Frame Bag in glovetanned leather was observed at $350. Earlier Kisslock Frame versions also turn up in listings, so the family could predate that show.
Made with quilted nappa leather and rivets, the Kisslock Dreamer 21 is an older-generation style, today found chiefly as restored or upcrafted pieces through Coach (Re)Loved. The Kisslock Barrel Bag is a Spring 2026 Coach Originals reissue modeled on a 1973 design. The name gained yet another use after a Kisslock Backpack was also shown for Fall 2026.
The Swinger, the Swing Zip and The Coach Originals
Built from newly made reissues of archive designs, The Coach Originals sells bags that are new rather than vintage. Coach traces the original Swinger design back to 1987; today it is a short-strap, zip-top shoulder bag with a turnlock. The version sold today is the Swinger Bag 20, also available With Chain and in Signature canvas or jacquard. Drawn from a 1998 design, the Swing Zip is a separate Coach Originals bag, so the two names are not interchangeable.
Reports in early 2025 named other Originals like the Safari Bag from 1968, the Dinky from 1974 and the Hamptons Hobo from 2005. No later than 2020, the Coach Originals name was reportedly in use. The line fits buyers who want an archive look without the wear of a truly vintage piece.
The Soho Names: Bag 25, Flap and Sneaker
Spanning three different products, Soho is among the trickiest names in the Coach catalog. The original Soho Flap dates from 2006. Produced in materials such as glovetanned leather, patent leather and crystal jacquard, the Soho Bag 25 is a more compact, newer reissue as opposed to that 2006 bag. There has also been a listing for a Soho Flap Bag in regenerative leather, with Soho styles forming part of The Coach Originals.
Unlike the bags, the Soho Sneaker is footwear featured by Coach in 2025 and 2026, and it belongs with shoes and coach clothing rather than handbags. To separate the bags from the shoe, include “Bag 25” or “Flap” to your search. Because no reliable current price for the Soho bags was captured, consult Coach’s own website before making a purchase.
The Willow, Cassie and Juliet Lines
Approach any launch date you see online with caution: these three lines are familiar, but none has a documented launch year. Willow is a pebble-leather family that has featured the Willow Tote 24, a Willow Bucket and a Willow Shoulder bag. The Willow Tote 24 is a clear example of a coach tote bag, and Coach’s own website has also featured a Custom Willow Tote. Offering a Signature turnlock and interchangeable straps, the Cassie Crossbody Bag 19 is part of Cassie, a design that spans crossbody and top-handle styles.
Under newer style codes, Cassie styles have kept appearing on Coach’s own website. Made in glovetanned leather, Juliet is a relaxed shoulder bag that comes in versions such as the Juliet Shoulder Bag 25 and the Pocket Juliet Bag 30. Before leaning on an older review, confirm whether a given Willow, Cassie or Juliet style is still current, as availability changes by season.
Observed Prices: All the Lines at a Glance
For each main line, the table below sets out the shape, the key date and, where one was reliably captured, an observed 2026 price. Rather than figures from an official Coach price list, these are observed market prices, and they change with size, material, color and promotions. Sales tax is not included in US prices, whereas VAT is built into UK prices. A coach outlet holds its own promotions on outlet styles, whereas full-price styles can be reduced during sales.
Physical outlet stores and an official online outlet section on Coach’s own website form Coach Outlet, and that is Coach’s own official channel. In 2014, Coach’s head of investor relations was quoted as saying roughly 85% of outlet merchandise was made specifically for the outlet channel. Since then, Tapestry has discussed bringing some full-price collection product into outlets, and that number is dated. For current-season lines, Coach’s own website or a full-price coach store remains the place to go.
